lovely lines
Lisa Armstrong
Lovely lines adorn her face
peachy ripe and so serene
glimpsing remnants of stolen youth
in gentle eyes that guard her grief
Her body may have forgotten,
how to move with ease
sometimes stiffened, sometimes seized,
but she
always
rose
with
a
timeless elegance
If you listen closely
you can still hear
her serenity prayer
e c h o in g
in eternal s p a c e
